International Women's Day 2022: taking action for equality

International Women's Day 2022: taking action for equality

Tuesday 8 March is International Women's Day – a globally recognised day to celebrate women's social, economic, cultural, and political achievements. This year's theme is #BreakTheBias.

As part of Belong, our vision for diversity and inclusion, we will once again be marking the day with our 5th International Women's Day event. We will be hosting a virtual session with guest speakers and in-person hubs in our UK offices.

We are pleased to confirm that joining us as keynote speaker is Janet Taras. Janet is an award-winning Business Psychologist and speaker who supports people in the workforce to have productive, difficult conversations that lead to progress and positive change. Janet's presentation, 'How to Break the Bias', will dig deeply into systemic and implicit biases and what we can do to break these down.

We'll also be hearing from our own inspirational William Hill women and men who will share stories on how they've overcome bias to progress their careers.

We look forward to celebrating International Women's Day as we #BreakTheBias and recognise the importance of equality.
