1917 New Favourite For Oscar Success

The Sir Sam Mendes directed 1917 has picked up the Golden Globe and with that, has been catapulted to the top of the betting for the Best Picture Oscar. William Hill are offering 5/2 that it wins the big one, with Once Upon A Time In Hollywood and Parasite both priced at 11/4.

"It was a great night for Sir Sam Mendes and we think there is every chance he will pick up the Oscar as well," said William Hill spokesman Rupert Adams.
