William Hill Sports Book Club on talkSPORT2

Tune in tonight at 5pm on talkSPORT2 to listen to the first episode of our exciting new radio show, William Hill Sports Book Club, hosted by Adrian Durham.

The show is set to delve into some of the year’s most exceptional sports books in the running for the William Hill Sports Book of the Year Award 2024.

Hosted by leading broadcaster Adrian Durham, he will be joined each month by a member of the William Hill Sports Book of the Year (WHSBOTY) judging panel and WH Marketing Manager, Neil Foggin, to discuss what it takes to win the award.

Each episode will take place on the first Thursday of each month, with the first episode airing tonight, and will take a deep dive into the 2024 entries so far.

On the show tonight, Adrian will be joined by renowned British sports journalist Alyson Rudd and winning 2023 author, Lauren Fleshman as they discuss her winning book titled, 'Good For a Girl'. Together they’ll discover the inspiration behind the book, its subsequent success, and what winning the award has meant.

Lauren Fleshman is a retired track and field athlete whose book detailed her career in the athletics industry while voicing her criticisms of how professional sport treats female athletes and issuing a rallying cry for reform.
